Hi

I'm locally recording a game that has some font elements with the color red. Right now it does not look very good when recorded:

I read somewhere that you can improve this. Not by bitrate, but some special x264 option.

Not really. Red kind of breaks x264 a lot. Especially when you incorporate a lot of it. If you do find a solution, let me know.

Thanks for your replay. I looked into it some more, and it looks like it's only that worse with my recordings. Other people who even stream und thus have a worse bitrate have better red text.

For example this dude: http://youtu.be/JE52HxQvBfc?t=6m56s Lower right corner you see "Valkyre (Fighting)" in red and it's readable.

And now what I record: http://youtu.be/4FC3yhKwVq8?t=2m3s Again lower right corner "Warrior II (Fighting)" and it's not readble. No, it's not because of youtube, it looks like that dirct from OBS.

I got most of my setting from the Local recording guide here form the forum:

I also tried CBR and some stream setting. Even copied the one from the russian youtube streamer. Or the AMD VCE branch of OBS.
