Question / Help Would this be up to scratch?

Hey all,

I've been trying to get into streaming for the last few months. Bought myself a capture card (Elgato HD60s) and some other bits and pieces. I was holding out for Mac support for the latest Elgato, and hoping it would support OBS like the Windows version of their software does. It was eventually released, but it still doesn't support OBS, and their own software just isn't any good on the Mac. Even running in Parallels is no good despite my iMac being a pretty recent and powerful one, I thought.

So, I have an old Mini ITX PC doing nothing, and was wondering if if would be good enough to handle the streaming side (no gaming) with a little bit of an update?

It's this one here - http://www.orbitmicro.com/global/ionitx-c-u-p-11438.html , 4GB Ram.

The only downside with it is no USB3 for the Elgato. So I was looking to either buy a Mini PCIE card to replace the WIFI chip that's currently on it to give me USB3 (like this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Min...board-to-19P-USB-Card-female/32554794971.html), or wondering if it's just no good and not worth the hassle, and I might as well just replace the whole board instead.

If a replacement is my best best, can anyone suggest a decent replacement that'll be fine to stream with?
I've tried to do some research and they all seem to be boards and seperate chips these days, so more of a cost. As with a lot of people, I'm trying to keep cost to a minimum if possible.

It's about 6 years since I bought the Mini ITX, so wont be surprised if its no good, but figured it worth asking as it's just sitting around and you never know!

Thanks for any help in advance.

Simon
