Question / Help Would router extender with ethernet connection be good enough for streaming?

I have been having issues with connection lag during streams and recently I found out that wireless WiFi streaming is a big no no. I have been using it this whole time, and I never even noticed!

Now the issue is, my router is farther away, and I do have an extender router that is not being used at all. Would it be good if I set up my extender router next to my PC and run ethernet from there or would that still be wireless since it is connecting to my main router? And would that be fine for streaming without have red bitrate and dropped frames? Thank you

That would still be over wireless, and should be avoided. ANY Wifi link in the connection will be susceptible to all of the problems that a wifi connection carries.

Run a cable from the PC to the main router (or a switch with a cabled connection to the router). If this isn't possible (and be honest, it is) look into Powerline adapters instead. A Cat5e cable will be much cheaper though, and a significantly better connection.

Get a few Ethernet cables and RJ45 inline couplers. Perfect 100 Mbps speeds of over 100 feet. If PC don't have Ethernet port, try getting a USB to Ethernet adapter.

Also, check if internet connection is good, maybe use speed test. Stream needs 2 Mbps upload or more.
