Question / Help Would appreciate help on a dedicated stream setup.

SO i have a i5 6600k laying around after an upgrade and figured i would make a dedicated streaming pc.

Does anyone suggest this for being able to stream a game like H1Z1 clear and at good FPS.

Also could anyone maybe give me some suggestions on what to pair with this, not familiar with what a streaming pc needs. I was looking on spending anywhere from 500-600.

That CPU should work pretty well as a dedicated stream PC. You probably also want a basic dedicated GPU for it (something like a 1060 or even a 1050 could work).

And since you're posting in the Classic subforum, I'm obligated to mention that Classic is no longer updated or maintained, and you should definitely update to Studio if you haven't already. :)

Sorry new to this whole thing, and i was thinking about getting a capture card and a weaker gpu, is that the way to go or should i just get a 1060?

Yeah, capture card was implied in this situation. Avoid Elgato or anything USB2.0. With a dedicate stream PC, you'll want something internal like a BMD Intensity Pro 4k, or a StarTech PCIe card.

I really hate to be a bother, but is there any chance you could maybe put together a list of what i'd need? if not totally fine and I appreciate the help.
