Question / Help (World of Warcraft) FPS Limited when starting stream.

So I am basically incapable of streaming WoW at the moment. I have a 144hz monitor (G-Sync turned off, though it has it). This is because when I start the stream, there is a huge amount of input lag introduced to WoW compared to what I am used to. The FPS reader in WoW stays where it is meant to, but the game feels much more sluggish and it makes it impossible to play properly. If I stop streaming, the issue persists in WoW until I set it to fullscreen and then back to windowed fullscreen (what I normally run with).

This has happened across multiple Windows installations, so I cannot imagine it is software.

I have tried messing with foreground/background WoW FPS settings, reinstalling GPU drivers and resetting their settings. The problem is the exact same no matter if I do 720p30 streaming, or 1080p60 (this CPU is easily capable of 1080p60, so it is not like I am lacking processing power).

Specs:
AMD Ryzen 1700X
ASUS Crosshair VI Hero
GTX 1070
Samsung 960 EVO 1TB m.2 SSD

That log has no stream attempt in it.

Please post a link to a clean log file. To make a clean log file, first restart OBS, then start your stream/recording for ~30 seconds and stop it again. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc. When you're done select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste it here.

Very curious. I don't see anything in that log that would indicate OBS is misbehaving or you're running into any kind of performance issues at all.

Are you running any kind of antivirus or security software on your PC?

Windows Defender is actually disabled, so I don't even have the default. No other antivirus either.

The issue has, for now, "automagically" fixed itself, but I'll be back around if it happens again I suppose.

Is your SSD the same drive you have the Windows partition on?....might be the OS is trying to write memory pagefile info to your disk, while the game us working on the disk , while OBS is trying to cache as well.
