Question / Help Won't show screen

[Slam Bash]

When I open OBS it shows a black screen and when I record and save clips, it is just black but with audio. I tried to alter settings and changed the Downscale Filter and the Renderer, but when I use the default Renderer, it doesn't allow a choice for the Video Adapter; it is greyed out. I'm on Windows 8.1.

Okay one more thing... Now It won't record microphone audio. It'll record the screen and the system audio but not the microphone audio.
