Question / Help Won't Detect a Game

When i go to play aion open brodcaster wont detect it. It would detect it before now it doesn't and its kind of annoying :(.

A lot of online MMOs and F2P games have hackshields that might prevent games from being captured, so it might be that.

I don't see how there would be one since i did it before. There are also people who stream it all the time on twitch.

It's just game capture that such a hackshield would block. You would still be able to capture with Window capture or a capture card. And it's possible that an update was released that made the hackshield more strict, which could be why it stopped working. I don't know if that's actually the reason, but it's one possibility.

Having said all that, usually what happens when a game has a hackshield is that you can still see the game in the list, but when you try to capture it, it gives you an error. For you, you aren't seeing the game in the list at all.

Are you sure the game is running while trying to look for the window to capture? Also, have you tried running OBS in Administrator mode?

I still see people streaming the game, but yes i did get the game to pop up in the list now. When i go to stream it though it is just a black screen, but i can still hear the sounds in the stream.
