I recently upgraded to Windows 10 (from 7), and since that time I've noticed that Window Capture works a little differently. In the attached screenshot, you'll see that there is a little blue lizard near the lower left. That's taken from a Window Capture of a window that was covered up by other items at the time. The fact that OBS now gets to see that, rather than instead showing whatever other window is on top of it, is kind of neat.
However, OBS now seems completely unable to show menus. This has become a problem for a game I've been streaming to Twitch, which frequently uses menus to perform important tasks like choosing where to go next. In the attached image, notice that the menu I've circled in red does not appear in the OBS broadcast.
I've tried checking the "Capture Layered Windows" option, but that does not help. Does anyone know a way to capture menus like these in OBS on Windows 10?
