Question / Help Windows VPS Server and black screen problem

Is htere any trick how to make the windows vps server send all time a normal screen with color and not only black screen after you close the remote desktop connection to vps server?

Because now my livestream from vps server is only black screen when i close the remote desktop connection. And i dont want to let my remote desktop connection all time open on my pc. There must be a trick or anybody know a solution?

Thats not right what you say, it does run as long as i have my remote desktop connection open. there is just a trick needed to make the VPS Server sending all time screen with color and not only black screen.

Again, VPS are not a supported use-case. We cannot help you with this.

Rdp connections establish a virtual GPU that OBS will use while you are connected with rdp. If you disconnect, this virtual GPU vanishes and OBS doesn't have any GPU any more. If you have a vps with access to a hardware GPU, you might be successful, but this is beyond the scope of this forum. In general it's what R1CH and FerretBomb said: even this is not a supported use case. If you are able to make it work, fine, but you're on your own, because OBS relies on hardware and hardware acceleration more than many other apps, and this is what you don't have in a vps. OBS isn't made for this.

Love obs but I ran into this problem on a shadow tech vps pc. In preview mode it captured the screen fine. However, when I started recording I got a black screen. I tried bandicam and it worked.
