Windows Surface low battery live

Hi there,
I bought a Windows Surface 7 a few weeks ago and the battery seems to already be getting worse and worse every day.
Maybe I just bought a flawed one or does anyone have the same experience? Also plesae let me know if you have any suggestions on how to prevent the quality of the battery even more.

Though, in general a Surface is a device focused on battery life
*IF* you are using a Surface on battery to stream using OBS, I'd expect terrible battery life... real-time video encoding is computationally demanding (ie chews up power).
