Question / Help Windows Sounds Over Stream??

I was doing a test stream yesterday on twitch and when i played the stream back i could hear the windows sounds in the capture as well, like msn messenger etc. I looked for an option that would point to desktop audio but the only one i could see was in the audio settings 'Desktop Audio Device' which is currently set to 'default' but i dont see a 'Disable' option, is this the option i need to change??

If you disable the Desktop Audio people will only hear your mic / aux source.
You can do this by clicking the speaker in OBS

But im using the Game Capture mode in OBS, so why is it also capturing background sounds from windows, shouldnt it just capture the audio from the game and nothing else?

Gamecapture is only for capturing the game video not the sound.
Sound gets captured from your playback device which includes all sounds that you can hear in this moment.

So the only solution would be to disable the other sounds or you use VAC (virtual audio cable) (which is not free).
