Hello I'm using OBS to broadcast sports and the video coming from my Canon XA25 thru my UltraStudio Reorder 3G glitches when I move it. I left my laptop specs below, anything helps! I'm looking to stream at 1920x1080 30fps
CPU: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz 1.38 GHz
OS: Windows 11 Home
GPU: Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics

That laptop should be up to the task, presuming you are aware and careful about background processes/tasks, and avoiding default (or otherwise) Operating System settings which are CPU hogs.
I'm suspecting a problem with your video feed into the PC. My recommendation is to troubleshoot audio and video feeds to your OBS PC outside of OBS (ie OBS not running/started), ideally using OS native apps/tools. Once you have drivers, connections, etc working as desired, then gets those sources working in OBS. And avoid WiFi unless you are capable of real-time WiFi traffic monitoring (and very few people are)

And is that a typo and you meant UltraStudio Recorder 3G? assuming yes
Have you made sure using stable firmware drivers (and no, I don't know if that is latest, or an earlier version)
And by move, are you meaning about subject motion, or possible cable/grounding glitch in the physical cable connections?
have you tested with BlackMagic's desktop software to view the video feed?

Sorry for the late reply forgot my password for a few days. And regarding the move part yes when a subject moves or even when I simply pan the camera the feed to ripple as if there's waves coming from the camera feed onto OBS. The camera feed is coming to the software via SDI so maybe that could be an issue with the cable. The BlackMagic software is fully up to date (drivers etc.) and I'm currently at a loss.

In that case, yes, I'd advise troubleshooting outside of OBS to start (as it may having nothing to do with your ripple effect).
You may need to work with Black Magic to troubleshoot the video source & input

I’m on a broadcasting team for my high school and usually it’s the HDMI (we use HDMI) or SDI cables that are the issue. Try borrowing a friend’s SDI cable and testing it or if you have none that have an SDI cable maybe go to a film store or computer store. You could also order one on Amazon (you can find some good quality ones) and if the cable’s not the issue you can return it. Try using Blackmagic’s software to test it before doing any of this by the way. I mainly work with HDMI cables which I’ve never seen have a problem with a “rippling” effect, but maybe SDI cables are different? Also try moving the cable around at spots and wiggling around where you have it plugged into the camera/computer to see what effect that makes and if it does it’s probably a cable problem. If it’s centered around the plug in points make sure to clean them.
