I don't see a problem. If you capture something that also contains the OBS window, the OBS window is captured. OBS displays what is it captures, and if this is OBS itself, it shows itself in the preview. This OBS preview is of course also captured by OBS, which is displayed, which is displayed. And so on. It's the same as if you stand between with 2 mirrors that face each other: an endless mirror in mirror in mirror.
Move OBS out of the capture area. Minimize it to get it out of the way or move it to a secondary monitor, if you have one.
