Windows OBS Studio virtual camera incompatibility

I'm trying to use Windows OBS Studio (27.x) Virtual Camera with the Atomi ActivePresenter tool with no success. Other software like Zoom correctly finds the virtual camera but ActivePresenter not.
Atomi support team say this:
"ActivePresenter only supports the new webcam API on Windows called Windows Media Foundation. Maybe the driver of OBS Studio only supports the old API (Windows DirectShow API), so it is not recognized by ActivePresenter.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a plan to support DirectShow since some of its features are deprecated. "

You may find the ticket at this Link

Does anybody know if this is correct and how to solve my need?

thanks a lot!

They are right. MF is not in use. I hope, you will find all tools you need for the OBS: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/

Side notes.
OBS designed for capturing, MF for protecting from capture. So, strange...
Not mature tech, limited support and knowledge. Few years ago, some implementations of the encoding via MF was dropped from the OBS (quality reasons: https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/commit/26595b58b9dbcc7c5604ba68af50043b5966fe18).
I think, not this year.
Thanks for your reply and the sides notes.
