Question / Help Windows Movie Maker and OBS

Hello. I am starting to use Windows Movie Maker and trying to edit OBS videos with it. I record it in the mp4 format and have the videos sent to my desktop in a folder as its output. I try converting it to things Windows Movie Maker supports which I know for a fact, like mp4. When I try to put it on the editor, I get something like this:

(the first black square is just my intro)

I have a Windows 10. Help would be appreciated.

Does it play after the intro?
You can click anywhere on the video and start playing it from there.

Also, Media player usually plays WMV files..
I have had problems with other type files like MP4..
Get Format Factory, it's free, and you can convert the MP4 to WMV...

Try using VLC also to play it...
Also, record to FLV and then convert it..
You'll find that setting in SETTINGS/OUTPUT/RECORDING...
You can use the Remux option in FILE/REMUX

It's also possible you never recorded the video and that's why only the intro played because you added that later.
