Question / Help Windows Movie Maker 2.6

When I'm recording in segments, I can't drag the files into windows movie maker.

When I drag the video over, it just had a red circle and a cross.

I've tried change the format to MP3, but, when I do that the audio fails.

from what i gather from a cursory google, WMM does not support MP4 video files. you would have to convert them to another format first, like wmv, then edit them in WMM. I recommend http://handbrake.fr/ for converting video formats

Have you tried AppGeeker? http://www.appgeeker.com It's fast and it's supposed to be very good.

it can convert your video into most formats, even mp3 if you need it.

If it's just a container issue, remuxing would be a better idea - http://obsproject.com/forum/threads/guide-how-to-convert-flvs-to-mp4-fast-without-re-encoding.6406/ should give you an idea of how to do it pretty easily.
