Windows March 2022 how to create a virtual audio device (with game audio only) that the browser sees

Hi,

I'm using Chrome to stream my gameplay from my OBS virtual camera using a Javascript app and webRTC built into Chrome. The OBS virtual camera appears on Chrome's list of video devices installed in the system just fine. The problem is that I also need a virtual audio device with the gameplay audio, that will appear as an audio device to Chrome. How can I take the audio from the gameplay app (e.g. Halo, Valorant etc) and convert it to a virtual audio device that Chrome sees? I'm not trying to feed the gameplay audio into OBS. I'm trying to stream it using CHrome. (PS this is not the usual RTMP streaming to Twitch, it is not related to that at all)

Many thanks!

Select Virtual cable A here as obs output in chome as recording device so you can route what you need to the browser !

in the windows app mixer you select an virtualcable as game audio output device and select it in voicemeter as Hardware Input 2

so you can send your audio where you need it ! Activate A1 to headset, A2 (TO OBS/Chrome), A3 To Discord or TS

Hi All, Voicemeeter Banana does work for this. However, why isn't there webRTC virtual mic/audio support built into OBS Studio? Or is there a new OBS webRTC support coming? #webRTC #virtualaudio #obsstudio
