Question / Help Windows Capture is not detecting my internet browser or VLC Player

Hello, whenever I try to use the Windows Capture Feature in OBS, it doesn't seem to detect Google Chrome or the VLC Player and instead just detects other files that produce a black screen. Although, I am able to get VLC files to work with the Media Source option but I want to also have the Windows Capture option as well. Here is a picture to further describe my situation: http://i1294.photobucket.com/albums/b602/SonicKeyblade007/OBS Help_zpskjgjyrad.png

Thank you for your time.

*Bump*, sorry but does anyone have any suggestions? I also now have an issue where the window drop-down detection list is blank and isn't detecting anything.

Thank you so much for your reply, by disabling acceleration in Chrome I'm now able to capture Chrome in OBS but I am still having issues capturing media files using the "Windows Capture" option. When I use the "Media Source" option it works though. Is it just not possible to capture for example an MP4 file with the "Windows Capture" option?
