Hey all!
I have been having an issue recently where when I have OBS open along with the Wave Link software for my Wave3 mic (fully updated firmware) my Windows Audio Service stops when I open a game from Steam and sometimes other applications. I have the latest build of Windows 10. I have a Ryzen 5800X, 64GB RAM and an RTX 3080.
What will happen is basically when a program starts up (such as a game) I will see a red X appear on the Windows speaker icon. I click troubleshoot and it basically says it has to enable to Audio Services again and it's fixed. This happens every time I open certain apps (when OBS is open) and even occasionally when it isn't. Another odd sound occurrence is when I will be playing a game, sometimes all audio will go dead but according to my mixers and my chat/Discord, people say they can hear everything and myself just fine so I will literally be playing with no sound on my end randomly after an hour or so of playing Enlisted or Hell Let Loose.
I was thinking it may have something to do with me always running OBS as admin (too many programs fighting over resources)? If anyone has any ideas on what I could try that'd be super helpful! I already have upgraded my BIOS to the latest Gigabyte BIOS that came out about 1.5 weeks ago and upgraded all of my chipset/other drivers.
Thanks in advance, guys!
