Bug Report Windows 8 pro blank screen desktop capture

Just installed windows 8 pro, 310.90 driver o gyx680 , directx updated via dxwebsetup.

can get sources to work, no matter what option i select, it's always black screen during prewview, whther its software monitor capture or pvp patcher or in game window.

is there any compatibility issues at the moment with win8?

i am using 150 dpi on 120hz monitor with xp scaling

Weird. If anything Win8 is the holy grail of software capture right now.
Which resolution did you set in the video options?
Try right-clicking on the source and select reset size/center/fit to screen.

nevermind im dumb. i was clicking global sources all this time, then i noticed you can right click on the "sources" box and add sources manually, and it worked. i feel kinda silly now, didnt understand instructions well enough for some reason.

Don´t worry you are not the only one who is starting with global sources, that button is just to shiny to not touch. :p
Global sources are best used for capture cards or webcams as you only set them up once and can insert them with the same settings in every scene you want and they are always active, so even when switching scenes they are still handled like if they would be in the active one -> performance!
