Bug Report windows 8.1 monitor capture black screen *fixed*

hey im using monitor capture to record my monitor for some friends. im not trying to record a game, and when i preview stream i just have a black screen. i have tried setting up my graphics card according to other help threads and the faq but i have had no luck
