Bug Report Windows 8.1 BSOD

I was casting my console (xbox360/ps3) using the decklink capture for my Black Magic intesnity shuttle on Windows 8.1 preview and it went into BSOD after about an hour or so.
I forgot to write down the crash message so I'm going to mess with it and see if I can reproduce the problem again and then come back here.

BSODs are not caused by OBS itself. Windows 8.1 is still preview right? Probably could be part of the reason.

Regardless, BSOD's are not caused by OBS. OBS can be the trigger but not the cause/origin/source. BSODs are something in the kernel, such as driver/kernel bugs, hardware malfunctions or instability and such.

Did the Intensity Shuttle work properly prior to installing 8.1 Preview? I have an Intensity Shuttle myself, and the drivers for it are insanely bad, the drivers causing bluescreens is definitely nothing new.

It could probably be the drivers. I know I had to update them when I went into 8.1. Makes sense it's the drivers since I only crash when I broadcast consoles.

Hopefully there will be updates that fix that... years later...
