Windows 7 Install issue

I am having trouble installing in WIN 7, does the software not work on win 7? When I click on the installer 27.2.4-full installer- x86.exe This screen pops up (The service can not accept control messages at this time) and will not proceed any further with install. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I was informed the software isn't supported for my ancient win 7... Thanks anyways.

You could do an internet search for the error text The service can not accept control messages at this time. It would require a certain level of Windows savity to judge the search results, which possible solutions are sane and safe to try. But a simple solution like Wait a few minutes, then retry your operation would be worth it... Or restart your computer.
