Windows 11 - Should I update from latest version of Windows 10???

Maybe I've missed it somewhere but is latest OBS version fully compatible with the latest Release of Win 11? Just wondering what people's experience has been if they have updated....or would the recommendation be to remain on Win 10 for now?

I'd recommend looking at MS desktop OS history with ME, Vista, 8, ....
With 30+ yrs of experience in this field, I won't be recommending Win11 unless it has a feature you absolutely need right now (and hen be prepared for certain compromises that may or may not impact you). And no, most apps aren't optimized for Win11 yet
Otherwise, I'd strongly recommend waiting to let Win11 to hopefully stabilize/mature. I don't expect to seriously consider upgrading for at least a year... and even then, the question will be whether Win11 is a release to skip or not .... only time will tell
just my $0.02

I upgraded to Win11. The only thing I am experiencing is the audio from my media files within OBS isn't coming through my monitor source. Other than that, MAYBE some small difference in CPU/GPU usage.... maybe. There was a faster response from usb audio sources such as microphones by about 130ms on my machine tho.

ok, thank you, good to know. I’m thinking at this point that the sensible (and less risky!) thing to do is wait and let Win 11 bugs, etc, get ironed out before upgrading. On the other hand I’m also thinking about all the fault-finding fun and new experience and learning I’d be missing out on by not upgrading so I think I’ll put helmet and goggles on, scarf up and hit the upgrade button! Hold on to your hats!!!! It could be a bumpy ride!!!

Yea, that is why I leave my host OS quite stable/untouched (not local admin, rather locked down), and run most everything inside VMs. That way I can play/learn/experience without risking being able to be productive when I need to. Unfortunately, that approach doesn't work well when trying to play with use cases/workloads that are truly demanding like video editing or real-time video encoding :(
