Hope this finds you all well!
Over the past few weeks I have noticed a pattern of my Windows laptop crashing to a forced restart if a usb input is disconnected. The first time was an accident, I jarred the usb-c connection from my docking station (during a live stream). I believe that a camera providing both audio and video were sending via usb. The second time I was working on sound, trying to get a Focusrite audio interface to send audio post DAW into my mix. I needed to quickly grab my computer and move to a different room to talk to a video vendor and Windows crashed when I unplugged the usb assets, this time going through a simple usb 3.0 4 port hub. This time, the camera was not on, but the audio interface was.
I just looked at the crash report for earlier this week and the Fault was addressed at 7FFB0E5A0605 (c:\program files\obs-studio\bin\64bit\obs.dll)
I don't recall this happening earlier than the last few weeks. I am running version 27.1.3 and am up to date on any updates that come out. Although it's never really my intention to just disconnect a live input source, I know that it has happened before that without grave consequence, usually a stall or disconnect on my camera bringing audio and video sources into OBS.
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
Brian
