Been having an ongoing problem on multiple Windows 11 computers. open up OBS and Windows 11 has a hard shutdown after 5-10 seconds,
Did some troubleshooting. i did a screen record with my laptop and 2 external monitors. did a successful session. this morning tried to set up for a laptop + one external monitor screen. instant crash, over and over even with safe mode.
I traced it down to IF there was a monitor that was part of a scene and is now gone, it will crash. The fix is to do a screen collection with the 3 monitor setup, make it inactive, THEN make a new active Scene as the active one with no missing monitors and OBS runs fine, reactivate the 3 screen scent and it crashes again
