Question / Help Windows 10 OBS stream lags , high CPU usage.

Anybody who replies to posts on this forum are only trying to assist with troubleshooting for OBS Studio and your PC specs, current OBS encoder settings. As long as you are willing to alter your settings to lower the workload when you are recording/streaming whilst on Windows 10, we can be of assistance.
The only other solutions are to roll back to Windows 7, optimize your installation of Windows 10 by removing features you do not need, services, applications, etc. or upgrade your PC... If you are not willing to adapt your current encoder settings to reduce the workload of your PC.
Resource usage has changed dramatically with Windows 10 from Windows 7, as a result performance expectations should also change. The latest fall creators update has seemingly been an issue for people in terms of reduced performance as well.

My pc is not the problem. I did a fresh install of windows 10 so there's nothing i can remove. I installed all my latest drivers and i could keep going on with the things i did to optimize W10. There's a problem somewhere else i can't find my self. It is not about my specs because i obviously have better performance in overall with windows 10 , i could stream with the EXACT SAME SETTINGS on OBS with windows 7. I dont want to roll back to windows 7 because i can't run cod WWII with it. The only thing i want to know is WHY.

Win10 is handling the whole GPU access and usage differently.
That's why running OBS on Win7 with high GPU load would still produce good videos/streams, where on Win10 you need to leave some breathingroom on the GPU load for OBS and you need to make sure that on dual monitor setups, both monitors are running at the same refreshrate (or if not, don't open any GPU accelerated windows/programs on the second monitor).
So use the advice we gave you, or install Win7.

Moprheus i understand that W10 handle GPU differently but it shouldn't block me from streaming with the same settings no? Zimmyantz The problem is , when i go too high i can't use/collect things instantly in my games it is another new problem i have with windows 10 , i feel like my internet connection is slower than is was or maybe it is because it wont let me use my entire ''Connection power''.

We never actually got to deal with the low bitrate causing low quality part, we only got to a stable base never got to improve upon it...

As Zimmy said, increase your bitrate to 6000.
If you see the line below in your logfile then you need to decrease your bitrate:
05:50:51.237: Output 'adv_stream': Number of dropped frames due to insufficient bandwidth/connection stalls:
Just decrease it by 500 or so until you don't see that line, then decrease it by another ~300-350 to allow room for background apps on your PC to communicate.

Before I upgraded to a Ryzen 1600, I had an i5 2500 non-k and there was no way in hell I could do any sort of streaming or recording with x264, it just didn't have enough cores to handle the workload. Especially with upgrading to Windows 10, which I am glad I did after I optimized it as much as I could as it has much improved memory management and far better stability overall.

I also had an i5 3570k, when attempting to play a CPU intensive game...Arma, PUBG, R6S, the streaming impact was heavy and therefore the game stuttered a bit. Since upgrading to an i7 with hyperthreading...the problem has disappeared.
One thing to point out, disable Game Mode in Windows 10, quick google should tell you how.
