Hey guys, after updating to Windows 10 and fully restoring my pc to factory new settings, it still "freezes" even though I tried switching between OBS 64 and 32-bit, and also tried switching encoder from x264 to nvidia nvenc. I dont know what it causes to freeze still, I also re-installed my drivers. Wtf?

I have no clue until you post a link to your log from the help menu

Hey dping, I found out it does not freeze when OBS is minimized, but when it is running on my second monitor it causes to freeze sometimes..

I tried what u told me without luck, and this seems to work.

Dont know if this is OBS fault or Nvidia, I checked on my CPU, it is not the CPU that is the fail.

disable the OBS preview window

Well if anything else works (and the driver is really stable, just like the OS), this will be OBS. We got some updates, but they are really late (expected them to be rolled out before win10 was released).
Windows 10 is really popular and right now a lot of people bump into strange and rare problems with different software because its was not optimised and tested with the new OS in the testing time...

Windows 10 and the Nvidia driver is not stable at all, I have had many issues with it, even since the updated driver was released by Nvidia on their website. I have the problem of my stream freezing after a few minutes of it working, and not returning. I'm not sure if that's what you meant by freezing, or if you meant that the actual application stopped responding, but I would like clarification on whether the fix was to minimize the preview, or to change the preset to high performance. If the latter, how do I do that?
