Hi there,

I made a post a while ago about my testing in CS:GO and Warface about D3D9 Hooking, apparently it was a global issue, well, we were told it was supposed to be fixed on .657b but apparently it hasn't, at least fully.

I noticed it was running smooth and everything, the game runs fine, but then the video it outputs locally randomly freezes every 20-30 seconds, only then I realized the logfiles showed hooking issues once again.

Here's the logfile:

https://gist.github.com/48873a10379a8fd11404

It's fully playable, kinda streamable but still not fixed I guess? I'm not in a hurry, again, I'm not uninstalling or something as I'm not yet streaming, but still.

Thanks for the support.

It was fixed, your log says so since game capture is capturing from GPU instead of CPU.
Also don't use 48 fps, use 30fps and set the x264 cpu preset back to veryfast.

It's a twitch shooter, my 3570k won't push 60fps but it'll do 48 for a reason, why is this relevant anyway? Even with 3500 kbps quality isn't good enough. That's why I'm running on faster. I found those settings give me the best possible quality without affecting my gameplay.

Maybe I'm wrong, I have almost no experience, if you could give some background on why should I do it your way it'll be great.

Running a slower sounding preset will increase your cpu usage and so does running 48fps vs 30fps. In your logs i saw 2% skipped frames, which happens because your cpu can't keep up.

After looking that log again with what you gave me you convinced me. After testing again, problems are gone.

Thanks alot!
