So I had an issue adding my skype to the stream- would only show a blank or black window but could display my mouse cursor when I moved over the window. I tried searching and searching through the countless posts on the webs with no luck finding a fix.
so- easy fix for windows 10
Download the skype standalone program, do no use the windows 10 app. just google skype standalone.. blam youre gettting there.
DL and Install the program. set your account up like normal- Make sure youre on the standalone version, not the app version. the stand alone will put a skype icon in your hidden icon spot by your clock.
So after your standalone program is up and running. exit it.
I put the standalone shortcut on my desk top to make this easy-
Right click your standalone shortcut-
go to Properties-
Should be a Comparability tab- click it-
go to box that says Compatibility mode-
Select box next to Run this program in compatability mode for:
then go through the drop down box and select windows 8-
go down to settings and select Run this program as administrator.
set up in your obs window>skype and blamalamaa
