Question / Help Window tiles

hello all I am brand new to here so thank you in advance for all the help. My issue at hand is I can record my screen but it tiles inward forever how do i get that to stop happening?

Move the window you want to capture on top of the OBS window.

The reason it's doing that is because you're capturing the OBS preview which is displaying what's being captured, which is then being captured again, and again, to infinity. If you don't want to see that, you need to hide OBS.
