Question / Help Window capture's audio from internal driver not working after update(s).

Hello,

I had a window capture source of my Serato DJ Pro software with audio coming internally from the controller’s driver working on my last stream in Oct. 2019. The holidays and being busy kept me away until now (Feb. 2020). SLOBS had updates and I also updated OBS. Now there’s no audio from the controller driver being received in OBS or SLOBS though sound plays through my amps and headphones connected to the controller like normal. Adding a new window capture of Serato also has no audio.

Not sure what’s wrong but everything was fine before the updates. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

FIXED!

After reinstalling the audio drivers, checking all audio settings and racking our brains on what changed since updates are not usually a problem we found the culprit:

"Allow desktop apps to access your microphone" was recently turned off, since a mic is connected directly to the DJ controller, not knowing it also kills the controller's driver.

Our apologies for assuming the updates were to blame.
