Question / Help Window Capture White Screen

Hello guys, I am having a problem with obs when i try to capture a specific window. It just shows up as a white screen and i dont know how to fix this. For any other window capture it works fine, its just the program that im trying to capture (roblox). It works fine on my desktop but my laptop has a faster processor and i want to stream on it. Any help?

First, you should update to the latest version of OBS Studio. At this moment, the latest version is 20.0.1. Second, I'd guess that your capture issue can probably be resolved by using Game Capture instead of Window Capture.

I've tried game capture, but it gets stuck on a single frame and doesn't play every time. I only downgraded to see if the issue would resolve btw

I'm not very familiar with AMD laptops, but you may be running into the issues described at the bottom of this post. From what I can tell, that laptop has the AMD Radeon Dual Graphics feature.

Is this Roblox the Windows 10 Store/App version? If so, I'm pretty sure you have to use Game Capture because it's a UWP application.

Hello. I also have a problem with this. I first started by updating my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M drivers and it didnt work so far. So I tried uninstalling it. So I went into the search bar and typing: "apps and features" (windows 10) or right click the windows button: control panel: uninstall an app and then selecting obs (windows 8.1/10). I made sure to click on the personal settings uninstall as well. This still didnt work.

Please help :)
