Question / Help Window-capture videos have a bright red stripe down the center

When I capture video from an application window, the video that comes out has a bright red vertical stripe down the middle of the frame. This is a new problem that started yesterday after a long haitus from recording, and I can think of a few possible reasons for this. I recently upgraded to Windows 10. I switched from an nVidia graphics card to an AMD card. OBS auto-updated to the latest version.

Could any of these be causing the new problem? And are there any suggestions for how I could fix it?

OBS version 0.657b

I just tried a game capture to see if the issue was persisting, and it is. I'm still getting a vertical red stripe in the output video. Attached is the log file that was generated during the recording.

So now, not only is it not recording correctly, it's not even writing the log files correctly? Double-you Tee Eff.

I'm going to uninstall OBS and reinstall a fresh copy. We'll see whether that fixes anything.

Well, uninstall and reinstall is complete. Another recording resulted in another video with a bright red stripe down the center, so that hasn't been fixed. It also resulted in a much bigger log file, which is attached.

OK, as of this morning, the red line has suddenly stopped showing up. In *any* video player. I have no idea why, but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. Problem somehow solved, I guess?
