Hey I've got a problem. When I try to add a Window capture screen from Photothop it won't show what I'm actually working on. Instead of just showing the window with the picture it's showing the entirety of Photoshop, but NOT the picture! So instead of only showing the pic it leaves OUT only the picture :<

What it's showing
1_1.jpg

What it SHOULD be showing!
2_1.jpg

I have Windows 8, Aero SHOULD be activated but I'm not sure. When I check the settings in OBS I can't even chose Disable Aero 0___o; If Aero is the problem then how do I activate it??

Halp!

Aero isn't the issue, Photoshop uses separate windows for the photo and the main window. Windows 8 has decent monitor capture function that you can run with Aero enabled. That being said, its far from perfect but post your logfile and we'll see what else can be done.

another option is to create a window capture for the main photoshop window, then a second window capture for the photo then layer the two windows on top of eachother.in OBS to recreate your photoshop look and feel.

The problem I'm having is that I can't make a capture for the photo/picture at all :( When I try it shows all of Photoshop instead, that's the issue I have >__< I don't want my entire Photoshop to show, ONLY the window...

I can get it to show just the picture window, but then it's just a blank page, the picture isn't showing...
I have NO idea how to upload log files though ovo

use compatibility hook with that window capture maybe? we're experimenting but I bet that will work.

I have noooo idea what a compatibility hook is XD I've KINDA gotten it to work, kinda. Now it CAN show the picture, but it won't show what I'm drawing :< I have to move the drawing window and stuff for it to even show something to begin with. If I want to show what new lines I've drawn I have to move or re-size the window again! So frustrating :<<<

double click on the window capture you set for the picture area and check compatibility hook for that source.

I've had that activated all along :<
if the photo isn't viewable with the photo source'd window capture has compat mode is enabled. you might be stuck with monitor capture.

It might sound kind of weird, but can you view your photoshop with game capture?
