Yes, I'm sure. I've Kaspersky antivirus. OBS Studio exist in the trust list, yes. I tried disable my anti-virus

THANK YOU I had to go to the bottom of settings and click advanced in chrome and almost if not at bottom of advanced page I un clicked teh acceleration. I AM BACK IN BUSINESS I THINK . I grabbed a window YEA! thanks again.

Under the Win7 you don't need this.

Hi, i have the same problem!
Install OBS 17.0.0 win7 64x (desktop pc) yesterday at first time - all function work's but "grab the window" Not! (When i create a new source in window capture i can't use or click the dropdown "select window") - i have the same problem.

I read this theme, and try to disable antivirus, to unclick acceleration in browser - but "grab the window" still not working. ("grab the screen (fullscreen)" is working normal).

even i disable/uninstall Kaspersky ,window capture >all empty (cannot find any windows) p.s. i use windows7 obs 17.0.0
then i switch to obs 0.16.2 and try to window capture , then all working normal

Had the same problem and yes - it´s because of Kasperskys protection. You can fix it by setting OBS to a trusted program in the program-controlling settings of Kaspersky.
