Question / Help window capture not showing the windows

I am running OBS version 24.0.6 (64 bit) on Mac OS X Catalina Version 10.15.2. I have checked all the app permissions. And still have the same problem. I am trying to capture quicktime player. Check my screenshots below.

What I found and this is kind of silly, but worked for me. I use hot corners and Mission control. Apparently, OBS sees each of these different workspaces as completely different areas. You must have the window you are trying to access in OBS on top of the same window that is using OBS and then use something like ALT TAB to switch as opposed to switching workspaces. If not, OBS will only see windows that are in that current workspace. I am so used to using the different workspaces and hotkeys, it never occurred to me that many people don't even use them, so would never run into this issue. Hope this helps.
