window capture is broken, obs blocks blender capture with its own ui, doesnt do it on actual display

wow! i cant post a 4k png to this forum.

after obs composited itself over a blender window, i rebooted, now obs wont capture the window at all, its just grey.

i want to post screenshots, but the website for capturing video says my still images are too big.

i would think your forums website wants to accept images to debug problems.

i have the latest version, never had this problem before.

There's no need to drop a huge file in here. Make it in jpeg and most probably is less than 500kb.
The first thing you need to do is read the pinned posts on this forum, so you can see if your issue is already addressed, and know what is required on order to receive support on your issues.

Sometimes you need to reselect de window you want to capture in order to be able to capture it after a restart.
