Question / Help window capture gives black screen on full screen applications

I am trying to record a full screen game and window capture just show a black screen. Use alpha-less texture does not help.

You should probably use display capture for a full screen application.

Try switching to use RGB Colour format under Advanced setting, this might help, not sure exactly the reason I think due to some alpha masking?

i know he says "record" but if the intent is to live stream, the selection will be overriden to NV12 by obs. All options are available for Recording.
