I use OBS with it's virtual camera to teach English online. I use a windows capture layer in two of my scenes to show images on Opera using google slides. I start my lesson with everything set up and working. I switch between a full video scene to other scenes with the window captures using hotkeys (ctrl 1, ctrl 2, ctrl 3). The problem is that in the middle of my lessons I will switch scenes only to have the window capture turn black. The source of the window capture will displays as an option in properties, but I will not be able to select it. I have tried closing the browser and reopening it, I have also tried using a different browser. Nothing works. The only way I can get my window to display again is to close and re-open OBS, which is hard to do in the middle of class. I run OBS as an administrator, I have my hardware accelerator turned off. I have adjusted the GPU. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? This has happened to me 20+ times and I keep trying new suggestions to fix it but nothing seems to work.
Window capture disappears and won't let me pick the source again.
