Question / Help Window capture, child windows doesn't display in recording?

I tried to use "window capture" with Geogebra (https://www.geogebra.org ). However when I wanted to record configurations / settings that part is not recorded because Geogebra uses child windows. Is there a setting I'm missing? or a workaround?

The workaround for capturing apps with child windows is display capture.

So basically, don't use "window capture" if your app uses child windows ... ;o)

That is what "display capture" means, yes. Window capture works on an application's main window.
