Question / Help Window capture capturing wrong data

If you use the onboard gpu, you will lose the efficient game capture method, you will need to use multi-adapter compatibility if you want to use game capture.

Hi, and thanks @Osiris so what i'm doing now is a game capture w/ multi-adapter compatibility enabled and a display capture source with it on the top. Game capture is actually useless... but will having it w/multi-adapter enabled help w/resource usage? One of the things that started this whole line of q and a was stuttering in the record process from overwhelming my system i assume (at the time defaulted to integrated gpu)

OK I have had a play around with this and I don't really see what is broken.

Two things, firstly the overlay that is generated by Hearthstone Deck Tracker is not picked up in either a Game Capture or a Window capture in either 0.13.4, 0.14.1 or OBS Classic so as far as I can see this never worked in a straight forward way - @CapnCrunch is that your understanding or do you have it working in a particular version? If you have it working please share details of all the sources in your scene where it works and which version.

I apologize for bumping this thread but I was having the exact same problem and I've seemed to fix it.

It was woking perfectly in OBS Classic 0.657b but in OBS Studio 0.14.2 I couldn't get "HDT - Capturable Overlay" to show up in the Window Capture source dropdown.

It is showing up for me now after setting both OBS Studio and Hearthstone Deck Tracker to "Run as Administrator"

Hope that helps.
