I recently moved from Windows 7 to Windows 8 and reinstalled everything on the PC. I am a big fan of Fallout: New Vegas and have a few friends that enjoy watching me play it. I'm also a fan of modding the game to a certain extent, enriching its content and making it more pleasurable.
The issue I face at the moment, and never faced before: if I start playing the game AND streaming, after a while the game freezes indefinitely, and if I alt tab, all I can see of the desktop is the taskbar. Pressing the 'Show desktop' (I use classicShell) on the left bottom corner won't help either. The game cannot be closed without using the task manager, and I cannot see the desktop to be able to use task manager. All that's visible is an almost full screen black recangle. This only occurs when I stream. IF I play the game without streaming, nothing happens, I can go for hours without a crash or a freeze. OBS doesn't freeze, and closing it doesn't fix the issue.
Any ideas?
