Win10 Build 2004 - STOP - DON'T - QUIT! EXIT INSTALL - Return to Build 1909!

Windows 10 Build 2004 just completely destroyed my entire day. DO NOT UPGRADE!

Avermedia and Elgato drivers are NOT ready for this update. you will get skipping sound from internal Avermedia Live Gamer 4K cards.

I just spent the better part of 15 hours trying to determine what happened. I uninstalled OBS, reconfigured all, read a shit ton of posts etc... only to realize after reinstalling windows and doing so to version 2004 via their media creation download tool....that a few days prior I had went ahead and installed build 2004 and had not streamed since. A week pasted then i needed to stream again and BOOM shit audio. If I was able to narrow down the culprit sooner... prior to windows reinstall I could have reverted to a prior build of windows...

I then thank the lord above had a ISO of the 1909 build "FORK YEAH" and installed it. Round three in a single day of installs. now 1909 is in and the audio skipping is gone.

Bummer, but I'm not surprised & that's why I delay ALL windows updates as long as possible.

Good thing you saved the 1909 ISO. Everybody should make a habit of doing this, cause it isn't going to get better anytime soon.

Which Elgato capture card do you have and what was the specific sound issue you encountered?

Ive been on 2004 for a couple months and capture is working without a problem.
