Question / Help Will this suffice for streaming?

I was wondering if this setup will suffice for streaming, and if so, what settings?

- I have a 25 down/5 up connection (did a speedtest and it's pretty much exactly on the point)
- NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS
- Intel core i5 G50 3.20GHz
- 6gb RAM
- 1920x1080p resolution

I realize my computer is bad, but can I stream with it?

The GPU isn't very good, and will make using Game Capture slow, so you'd have to stick with Window capture.

The best way to find out is to just try it.

I have tried streaming League of Legends for a bit, I had about 40-50/ 50-60/ 60-70 ingame fps, depending on which settings I used. Also the quality was definetly not 720p even though that's what twitch said it was. But I really have no idea how to use OBS, so I dont know if the changes I made were correct or not.

Like what would be the best bitrate, buffersize, resolution downscale, fps, x264 CPU preset for me?
Or should I just give up on streaming until I have a new GPU and CPU?
Sorry for being so clueless! ^^

this is the response I got:

CPU Advice

Consider using a resolution downscale if you experience high CPU usage
Set FPS to 30
Game Advice

Set quality to 8 - 10
Try lowering your quality if you experience excessive pixellation during scrolling / motion
Use game capture if possible for maximum performance.
Use window capture with Aero enabled if game capture is unavailable.
Network Advice

Your upload speed is sufficient for 720p / 1080p
Recommended max bitrate: 4000
Recommended buffer size: 4000

What x264 CPU preset should I use though? And what do I need to replace first: My GPU or CPU?

Never mind my previous post, I found the correct x264 cpu preset. I tried to stream League of Legends with Monitor capture first, then Game capture. With monitor capture the screen kept flickering really badly on twitch stream, with game capture it was fine no problems at all, except lower fps but not alot.

Could you stream LoL with monitor capture though? cuz my fps is best while using that. I just want to fix the flickering

When I'm not streaming I have about 150-200 fps

EDIT: I can stream monitor capture in borderless mode and Aero turned off. my ingame fps is only 70-100 fps though while streaming, but it should be enough right?
