Hi,

my Question ist will the H265 Codec be supported in OBS Multiplatform because I have heard it is much more efficient then the H264 Codec what is know used.

Size wise, it is more efficient, however youtube doesn't support it as a codec for uploads, and the processing power required to encode it is beyond what is available for live encoding in a LARGE percentage of systems (as of this post).

could use ffmpeg or handbrake to convert to h265, but not a lot supports h265 playback right now either.

Already available, but you need more cpu than is available to maintain the recording speed.

Sure, compile a version of ffmpeg with h265 support, replace it with the included ffmpeg dlls and use custom ffmpeg output.
I thought that, since it's been in ffmpeg for quite some time now (since dec 2014), it'd be in the version that's included in OBS MP.
