Bug Report Will not connect to server

For the past 2 weeks it takes hours to finally get connected to a server, I have updated everything, reset and checked my stream key numerous times , followed all the suggestions on the FAQS page and still get the message that there MAY be a problem connecting to the server. I would tend to believe that taking 2-3 hours to establish a connection is most likely a definite problem, agree?
 
So I spend all night emailing bacl=k and forth with a "customer support " person, get absolutely no results and finally receive a reply that says " we understand if you need to switch software to continue streaming."Great customer service reply! Isn't it their job to assist with problems rather than tell us to go elsewhere?
