Hi peeps,

Been setting up my stream again and hit a road block in testing when recording.
I have been racking my brain for 2 days trying to get my head around why my captured card on the stream PC, game audio is dsyncing from the game video?

I.e - shoot gun, half a second later i hear the gun shot sound!? The Audio and video is traveling over the same HDMI cable to the capture card.

I have reinstalled the capture card driver and tried all sorts of resolutions and anything else I could think of but the delay is still there, I cannot work out why.

Is anyone able to offer me any reasons as to what could potentially cause that, so I can continue to troubleshoot. Pretty sure I found a grey hair tonight :O
Did that come from this lol?!

To be honest, I've had this issue for a while now. A while ago I thought I fixed this problem but playing CS:GO just screamed off sync. I have no clue how to solve it so I'm mostly here just to say I have the same problem and if I ever find a solution, I will let you know!

That's really odd mate!?! I haven't streamed for 12 months, had some personal things going on and also had to move location. 12 months on though, I went to set it all back up and now and i notice this delay between the video and audio coming over the capture card.

I'm going to try a few more things tonight, hopefully i don't find another grey hair in the process though :O

I got home last night, turned everything on and it worked as expected with no delay?! I hadn't adjusted any settings, ay ay ay...
Bonus is i didn't get another grey hair :P

Good Luck with your setup PolarSteve

Okay, didn't record until tonight forgetting I had the delay problem. 3 Hr recording lost due to it so I got so annoyed played with settings left and right. Well, I found it.

Under properties for your desktop audio just turn off 'Use Device Timestamps'
So if you ever run into the problem again it's probably that lol
