Hey!!!

In my opinion my stream isn't sharp. I mean that it should be hmm more you know visible. Stream is like with a motion blur. Please tell me which settings are responsible for this "motion blur" (bitrate, resolution, something else).
My stream settings:
Stream resolution: 1280x720
CSGO resolution: 1024x768 black bars
bitrate/buffer: 1800
CBR + CBR padding: OK(checked)
x264 preset: very fast
key frame: 2
CFR: OK(checked)

My PC:
CPU: i5 4670k (oc not avaibale)
GPU: GTX660 OC version
RAM: 8GB Crucial Ballastix 1600 MHz

1) Video from my stream -> http://www.twitch.tv/dominicogame/c/6011402
2) Video with the "sharpness" which I at least would like to have on my stream -> http://www.twitch.tv/juliecs/v/3679487
3) Video with the "sharpness" in my dreams I would like to have -> http://www.twitch.tv/tyggbar/c/5355972

Best regards,
Dominik

If I increase bitrate to 70% of my upload which will be 2100. Will it be load my cpu much more? Am I right?

no bitrate is the amount of data it sends to twitch/site
the encoding , if you changed the preset to more encoding you could decrease the bitrate
but its a major strain on cpu and without a high end cpu (4k series ideally) changing the preset isnt recommended

Thanks mate. I will try increase bitrate to 2100 and I will check stream. Will it be more sharpness or not :) I hope it will be. If not I will try encoding "faster".

One more question. How big difference in cpu loading is between encoding "very fast" and "faster"?

there are reviews out there that say that the differences are minimal but if you have low upload and a nice cpu them why not raise it a bit. Better results are with higher bitrates with presets.

also, if you aren't downscaling then it wont be as sharp. Downscaling uses anti-aliasing to sharpen a lower quality image but just setting the resolution of your stream to what you want, will often be fuzzier because it just squishes the image

@dping
So downscaling is better than chose a custom resolution? So even if I have got 16:10 aspect ratio I should use 16:10 downscaled resolution in OBS, yes?

@george passmore
I bumped cuz I asked about something on which I didn't have an answer.
