Question / Help Why less than full screen

I'm brand new to OBS and video recording in general. I'm testing my settings and when playing back what I record, it is not at full screen. What causes this? Why is the picture only a subset of the entire window? I am attempting to record at 1080p. What other info do you need to help me resolve this?

Your source is not 1080p (resolution: 640x480) so you will need to stretch it to fit the scene. Selecting the source and pressing Ctrl+F will auto size it to fit. Note that since the aspect ratio is different you will get black bars on the side.

My camera is a Logitech C920 which is capable of 1080p. How do I adjust to get the full 1080p instead of 640x480?

Thanks for you help yesterday. With your help I was able to get a pretty good recording at a meeting last night.
